About the Doll
Lumia is the palest NS resin I have ever seen. She’s barely a shade off from white, but at least it’s a pleasant pinky NS? Overall, she’s a great doll; they’ve since updated the Impl Star body, but I have no major complaints about this one. She stands well and poses easily, and the only thing I am not crazy about is that her thumbs seem disproportionately short. Weird thing to pick up on as an annoyance, I know.
She’s one of the rare few dolls in my collection that doesn’t have any modifications. She arrived, she got a faceup, wig, and eyes, and that was it. I’ve been satisfied with her since, and given the way most of my dolls work out, that’s actually kind of weird.
About the Character
Lumia is the Queen of the Underlings, a magicless people long banished into a cavern system below the ruins in the central portion of Elenhiise Island. As a fire mage originally from the mainland, she bore power none of the Giftless could hope to oppose, but one she swore to use for their benefit. Despite her promises, she offers them little more than the bare minimum necessary to keep them in line. The Underlings are a resource she seeks to use to topple the Kirban Temple for its wrongs–and the royal family supporting the temple after it.
Although a mage herself, Lumia bears the radical notion that magic should be allowed to go extinct, and that the world would be better off without it. Anyone who opposes her desire to see it eradicated becomes an enemy… and those who go along with her intentions become little more than tools in her hands.
